Lily Minh Wass is a public health researcher with a strong focus on vaccine confidence, digital health innovation, and AI-driven behavioral tools. She currently holds dual Research Assistant II roles at the Vaccine Confidence Project™ at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D24H) in Hong Kong.
At the Vaccine Confidence Project™, Lily leads international research initiatives exploring public health behaviors and trust in vaccines across Asia and Europe. She plays a key role in the development of ethical and scientifically aligned digital tools, including a GPT-4o-powered chatbot for cognitive behavioral therapy. Her work spans the full research cycle—from systematic reviews and innovative LLM-based methodologies to peer-reviewed publications and stakeholder dashboards. She also delivers training modules to enhance AI literacy among health professionals.
In parallel, Lily supports the development of commercial research prototypes at D24H, where she contributes to women’s health technologies through backend design and data strategy. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping brand messaging, securing IP protection, and winning early-stage innovation funding.
Previously, she contributed to COVID-19 surveillance and vaccine literacy efforts through research roles at Cornell University and the CUNY School of Public Health, where her work informed testing policies and community engagement strategies.
Lily holds a BSc in Global and Public Health with a minor in English from Cornell University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the CALS Honor Society and has authored publications in npj Vaccines and JMIR Public Health Surveillance.
