Biography

Prima Alam is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Vaccine Confidence Project at the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health Limited (D²4H), Hong Kong. As a social researcher and activist with over 10 years of experience in public health and development, they are passionate about using creative and collaborative methodologies to address health inequalities among marginalised communities around the world. Prima holds a PhD in Public Health and Policy and an MSc degree in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK. Their doctoral research was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, UK and explored young people’s lived experiences of sexuality in South Asia.
