The latest data we have for Estonia is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 61% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 70% think they are effective. 75% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 75% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Estonia has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was low*. 47% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 57% thought they were effective. 72% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
