Vaccine confidence in Iran is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Iran is from surveys conducted in 2018, which showed that 63% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 78% think they are effective. 86% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Iran has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 70% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 88% thought they were effective. 99% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
