Vaccine confidence in Kazakhstan is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Kazakhstan is from surveys conducted in 2019, which showed that 65% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 72% think they are effective. 82% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 68% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Kazakhstan has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was low*. 42% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 51% thought they were effective. 70% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
