Vaccine confidence in Sudan is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Sudan is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 81% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 81% think they are effective. 89% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Sudan has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2020, 72% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 75% thought they were effective. 81% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 72% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
