The latest data we have for Vietnam is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 91% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 95% think they are effective. 94% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 78% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Vietnam has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 78% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 94% thought they were effective. 98% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
