Vaccine confidence in Armenia is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Armenia is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 63% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 66% think they are effective. 81% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 79% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Armenia has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 67% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 76% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
