Vaccine confidence in Armenia is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Armenia is from surveys conducted in 2019 which showed that 71% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 77% think they are effective. 84% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 81% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Armenia has remained steady since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 67% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 76% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 83% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
