Vaccine confidence in Côte d’Ivoire is very high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Côte d’Ivoire is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 87% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 90% think they are effective. 95% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Côte d’Ivoire has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was high*. 69% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 79% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
