Vaccine confidence in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Côte d’Ivoire is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 73% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 77% think they are effective. 77% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 70% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Côte d’Ivoire has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, 76% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 88% thought they were effective. 97% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
