Vaccine confidence in Denmark is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Denmark is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 78% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 78% think they are effective. 75% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 70% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Denmark has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was very high*. 88% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 88% thought they were effective. 91% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
