Vaccine confidence in Lithuania is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Lithuania is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 72% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 77% think they are effective. 69% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 75% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Lithuania has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, 81% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 81% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
