The latest data we have for Niger is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 89% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 89% think they are effective. 90% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 84% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Niger has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, 64% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 67% thought they were effective. 69% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
