Vaccine confidence in Netherlands is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Netherlands is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 70% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 72% think they are effective. 70% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 73% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Netherlands has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 75% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 86% thought they were effective. 91% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.

The latest data we have for Nigeria is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 81% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 82% think they are effective. 81% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 78% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
