The latest data we have for Norway is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 79% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 83% think they are effective. 83% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 74% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Norway has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was high*. 75% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 84% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
