Vaccine confidence in Slovenia is low* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Slovenia is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 50% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 55% think they are effective. 55% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 58% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Slovenia has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was average*. 70% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 77% thought they were effective. 80% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
