Vaccine confidence in Greece is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Greece is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 79% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 82% think they are effective. 81% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 75% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Greece has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 71% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 80% thought they were effective. 86% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 59% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
