Vaccine confidence in Slovenia is average1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Slovenia is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 66% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 71% think they are effective. 69% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 67% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Slovenia has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 70% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 77% thought they were effective. 80% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 47% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
