Vaccine confidence in Thailand is very high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Thailand is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 86% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 89% think they are effective. 88% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 89% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Thailand has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 93% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 92% thought they were effective. 98% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
