Vaccine confidence in Venezuela is very high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Venezuela is from surveys conducted in 2022, which showed that 88% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 90% think they are effective. 93% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 74% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Venezuela has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was high*. 81% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 83% thought they were effective. 88% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
