Vaccine confidence in Zimbabwe is very high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Zimbabwe is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 85% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 91% think they are effective. 92% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Zimbabwe has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was high*. 75% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 80% thought they were effective. 85% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
