Vaccine confidence in Colombia is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Colombia is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 80% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 84% think they are effective. 90% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 78% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Colombia has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was very high*. 91% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 94% thought they were effective. 97% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
