Vaccine confidence in Cyprus is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Cyprus is from surveys conducted in 2022, which showed that 82% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 84% think they are effective. 82% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 84% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Cyprus has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was very low*. 42% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 48% thought they were effective. 57% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
