The latest data we have for Greece is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 66% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 71% think they are effective. 75% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 53% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Greece has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 71% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 80% thought they were effective. 86% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
