Vaccine confidence in Bosnia Herzegovina is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Bosnia Herzegovina is from surveys conducted in 2019 which showed that 67% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 77% think they are effective. 79% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 66% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Bosnia Herzegovina has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 59% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 69% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 59% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
