Vaccine confidence in Cambodia is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Cambodia is from surveys conducted in 2022, which showed that 96% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 96% think they are effective. 96% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 46% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Cambodia has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was high*. 76% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 82% thought they were effective. 86% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
