The latest data we have for Niger is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 95% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 96% think they are effective. 97% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Niger has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was average*. 64% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 67% thought they were effective. 69% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
