Vaccine confidence in The Philippines is very high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for The Philippines is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 92% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 95% think they are effective. 96% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 88% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in The Philippines has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was very high*. 98% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 98% thought they were effective. 99% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
