Vaccine confidence in Singapore is very high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Singapore is from surveys conducted in 2024, which showed that 86% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 88% think they are effective. 88% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 83% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Singapore has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was average*. 62% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 63% thought they were effective. 70% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
