Vaccine confidence in Ukraine is average* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Ukraine is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 59% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 65% think they are effective. 60% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 80% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Ukraine has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was high*. 66% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 76% thought they were effective. 82% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
