Vaccine confidence in Albania is high* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Albania is from surveys conducted in 2019, which showed that 82% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 72% think they are effective. 86% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 68% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Albania has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, average vaccine confidence was average*. 54% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 63% thought they were effective. 82% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
