Vaccine confidence in Turkey is average* compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Turkey is from surveys conducted in 2023, which showed that 59% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 67% think they are effective. 68% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 57% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Turkey has decreased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was very high*. 78% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 89% thought they were effective. 95% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
