The latest data we have for Bosnia and Herzegovina is from surveys conducted in 2019, which showed that 67% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 77% think they are effective. 79% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 66% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, average vaccine confidence was average*. 59% of people felt that vaccines were safe and 69% thought they were effective. 87% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
